Im curious... How much do a companies ethics play a role in your decision to shop with them? Do you boycott Pets At Home because they still sell animals in their stores? Do you choose your dogs brand of food based on whether the company carries out animal testing? Do you avoid buying a specific brand because they sell products which you believe cause harm (thinking here of brands that also sell aversive training products). We were looking for something for Albie once, I forget what it was a few years ago now, we found it cheapest at an online store but when I looked around I saw they sold some awful collars and other bits n pieces so I emailed the company and said I would be buying elsewhere because if their ethics were that those products were acceptable or that it was ok to make a profit out of them then I didnt want to do business there.
