Im curious what other Alaskans actually think about the minimum wage increase. I attended this forum/debate and left with a sense that given the relatively low unemployment in Alaska, and the modest increase compared to what many jobs are already paying...Im leaning toward not being opposed...except for one important factor: If the national minimum wage goes to $10.10, under this ballot measure, Alaskas min. wage would jump to $11.10. That starts to get a little more worrisome for me when considering the impact to smaller businesses.
