Im educable (at least minimally), but cant seem to get this one through my head - and so Im looking for enlightenment. The Democratic party takes the Republican party to task, calling the concept of voter identification racist along with a variety of other pejorative labels. As Im not a candidate (Medicare - but still...), I cant say from direct experience, but Id bet that ACA requires some form of identification to sign up, and if it works at all like Medicare, identification before receiving care. So, if the rules are the same, apparently the Democratic party (unanimous in voting for - save a small few - the ACA, while not a single Republican voted for it) is racist for demanding identification to buy and/or receive care under ACA. Help me out. Why is voter ID racist, where ACA ID isnt (or, is it??)?
