Im entirely too dependant on my Kindle, so when it started hiccupping, I was alarmed. Like, Everythings fine, Mom, DONT COME IN HERE! alarmed. First it stopped charging when I used my charger, but my sons chargers worked. Then it would only work with one of my sons chargers. Before things could degenerate into screaming chaos (too late!), I called Amazon and explained the problem. Amazon had me do a few things and…now none of the chargers will charge it. This, I explained to the tech, is the OPPOSITE of helping me. When I called you, I could still charge the thing. Now: I cannot. Its hard to rant through gritted teeth, but I have teenagers, so I managed. A kinda happy ending: theyre sending me a new one, gratis. Im a little worried about the poor tech, though. I shouldnt have said those things about his mom.
