Im going to be a real stick in the mud here guys when putting up or letting down the ramp on a rear loading trailer can you all please stand to the side when doing so a friend of mine was badly hurt yesterday when her horse double barrelled the ramp and it came down on top of her she had ended up with a head full of stitches and possibly a broken jaw.If your out on your own ask someone for help at comps etc the horse that did this is lovely and calm and never done anything like it before.Ive been preaching this for 22 years when i this exact thing happen yet the lady in question then was not so lucky and pronounced dead at the scene.Never ever stand behind the ramp especially when your horses back legs are facing you regardless of how many times they have loaded perfectly the risk is not worth taking
