Im going to be slammed for this, but for anyone who cares about animals and is open to the truth, youll want to read this. I, too, thought this was cute the first time I saw it in a video. Then I found out they are NOT cute, and the ducklings are NOT doing this for fun. If they were, they would provide much more room. The ducklings are forced to go down the slide. They have no area to lounge or relax. They have a very tiny area to rest. Other slides have food at the top in an angle that forces them to fall down. In this slide they are forced to stay in that very **tiny** spot with that heat lamp over them. They have no choice but to go down the slide or bake. A water slide is not a natural thing that a duckling would want to go down. Their instincts in the wild would, in fact, tell them NOT to go down a slide. I hope people understand and realize this was written so we can put a stop to these slides being used. They are, in fact, cruel. Thank you to those who care enough to be open minded to learn the truth. [Note to anyone who is going to say they need the heat lamp... Heat lamps should be approx. 18 above them UNTIL they get their feathers in. This is far lower then 18, and the ducklings clearly have their feathers in. Additionally, they are NOT provided a cool spot.]
