Im going to go out on a limb here and say, just because you wear scrubs does not mean youre a nurse. At one time, only nurses and doctors had the honor to wear scrubs. Now anybody in the medical field wears them. A nurse (RN) is someone who went to college and earned a degree in nursing. The closest thing to a real nurse is an LPN and theyre usually working on their RN. I think its totally disrespectful to discredit someone who has went to college and obtained an actual degree. That would be like a substitute teacher or parapro calling themselves a teacher, when in fact, they are not. Or a real nurse calling themselves a doctor, when in fact, they are not. Those professions take time to conquer and a lot more than just a one time class or a few weeks of class. Im super proud of my own Nurse Betty who earned her RN about 12 years ago! Just sayin
