Im going to say something many of you may not like. Lets create some hypothetical scenarios - If (supply socio-political issue: e.g. gun control or even something so obvious as equal rights, etc) is not addressed and rectified in, say, the next twenty years, there will most certainly be twenty years of continued adversity and undesirable outcomes. Of course, this would be terrible. And yet, we would still be in, more or less, the same position to address and rectify aforementioned issues as we are today. On the other hand, if climate change is not brought to the forefront of our attention, our efforts, immediately (read: twenty-five years AGO), it will be far beyond our capabilities to combat (not to mention, aforementioned socio-political issues will be both exacerbated and relegated to the back burner while we struggle to cope). Wake up!
