Im going to share a post my friend Art Miller sent me. This woman - TopicsExpress

Im going to share a post my friend Art Miller sent me. This woman says some very compelling things. Recently I posted some things about Drone attacks upon folks in Pakistan. First let me say that I am against Drones being used in this way. I am against drones flying in our skies as well. I see this as a slippery slope to a type of Big Brother scenario that will bring a type of lifestyle we could only have seen in futuristic sci-fi or depicted in 1984 or farenheit 451 or books and ideas of this nature. It is also in my opinion the wrong way to use technology. Man was not made to police his neighbor in this fashion, in my opinion. One day soon as we go down this pathway, our skies will be filled with drones. Ourselves our children and our neighbors will be monitored in a fashion which speaks of, in my opinion , a height of tyranny. Men with power, police forces with this kind of power governments with this kind of vehicle WILL use it wrongly. I HATE DRONES. I DESPISE the use of this kind of thing anywhere. Now, I know Im moving in many directions here. I think when we sat and watched Shock and Awe in the Bosnian situation against the Serbs by remote control( sort of) and had our first video game kind of encounter I felt we had taken an extremely dangerous step. Killing from afar. I felt we should have physically gone and stood with those being oppressed, and then if the Serbs attacked those they were killing then we would respond. But to kill from afar, with not possibility of being killed is absolutely wrong. Killing is a great evil, even when it is done for a good reason. Hopefully when killing is employed it is the lesser of Two Great Evils, and should be done only with something at stake. In the bible we see some of the element of the importance infused into a situation because of the possibility of danger to the individuals engaged in a certain endeavor. Davids men went out and got him some water by sneaking beyond and into the enemies camp. When they came back and offered the water to David, he would not drink it but poured it out as a libation because it was at the possible cost of his mens lives. We see the situation infused with a holy regard. This is the kind of regard which needs to be there in all wars for them in my opinion to be Just. To kill from a distance as we did in the Bosnian situation is a Great Evil. It Cost us Nothing. The same thing, in my opinion, is happening in Pakistan. And in the process MANY innocents are being killed. This, to me, IS WRONG. God help us. Now with that said, I will share a video which has elements which I dont like( the applauding of the speaker), but with many great points. It will confuse some folks and seem like a turn around but it is not. I hold different aspects of things in my hands and I think it is necessary when deeply looking into things. I hope I have not confused some folks. Blessings https://youtube/watch?v=vYjiSaV5VoE
