Im going to sound like a complete pleb saying this but, fudge it. Does anyone else feel that gaming is just so conflicted and toxic nowadays that you cant just enjoy it any more? I barely see anyone getting along on this page or the gaming community any more, and yeah, were all guilty of being shitheads to people. It was okay every once in awhile, but now, there is never a moment when someone isnt being attacked because of what they play on or what genre they prefer, and general banta usually turns into a complete shitstorm of arguments that rarely become resolved. Not to mention the community as a whole is usually under fire from some uninformed baboon that makes us all look bad. *Cough* Sarkeesian *Cough* And theres barely any hype for anything any more. Ive seen only a few new franchises launched this year, all others are sequels or copy and paste games. Barely anything creative or unique is being made, with some exceptions popping up here and there. Very few honest and loyal developers still exist in the industry, with the rest of them either blatantly lying to us all the time, not putting any effort into anything, or both. I dont know, maybe its just been a really shitty year for gaming. What do you guys think?
