Im guessing its time for an update for those wondering why Ive been so quiet lately - to begin with I had about 6 days suffering from an attack of colitis - the first time in about 10 years & I had forgotten how painful it could be - was just getting over that when I stepped wrong outside & did something to my leg so was hopping around for a few more days - in other words I just didnt feel like spending time at the computer when my bed was much more comfy!! Noelle didnt complain - she just cuddled! During this quiet period the problems with my benefits got sorted out & back on track. Next is to somehow get into that self-employment program. Im still dreaming of Sweet Second Chance! The cooler, wet days arent helping me feel energetic - old bones & joints ache & swell at this time of year. Im not looking forward to another winter of hauling water but realize that the chance of getting my bathroom fixed up & the water system running is very slim now. As to my front door which needs replacing - I may just board it up for the winter - since I have no steps to access the side door maybe Ill be using a ladder & going in and out the window!! Noelle would love that - just a new game for her!! Im not complaining - just saying how things are - when I think of some friends with major health issues or who have suffered some kind of loss recently, I feel very lucky. Im still able to grouch about things that go wrong - still able to play with my mutt - still able to enjoy each day. So at this point sending thanks and hugs to all my friends who are always there for me. Take care - every single one of you is important!
