Im hanging out at the Starbucks in downtown Merced this morning after a nopalitos-and-eggs breakfast, Facebooking & waiting for visiting hours to start so I can visit someone I love who is in a lockup here... free wifi is available at most Starbucks world-wide - otherwise I would never have been a patron. It seems the height of arrogance and disconnectdness from reality for these folks to be cruising through the drive-thru Starbucks all over the USA, listening to NPR, buying the New York Times, trying to look intelligent with their motors running and AC blasting !! Thats CRAZY... McDonalds customers i can sort of forgive for not acting like they know or care about global warming but STARBUCKS - wake up people !
