Im having a little trouble with Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.5 if anyone may be able to help? Essentially, Ive gone from a 32bit Windows XP PC (where it ran perfectly) to a new 64bit Windows 7 (SP1) machine. All the hardware has gone over fine (2x M-Audio Delta 1010LTs/Nvidia Quadro NVS440/multiple internal slave hard drives etc). The programme seems to install fine but when you load it up, halfway through the loading process with the splash screen a dialogue box pops up with DAE Error -6006, when you click OK (the only option you have) the programme is then aborted. Google isnt really helping, nor avid forums. The only details (after a lot of digging) on the error code Im getting are vague at best (one suggestion is to do with the slave hard drive and another is to do with motherboard/CPU not being compatible). Can anyone help shed some light on this error code. My plan was to install it then update to PT 10/11.
