They ended up giving him steroids and more antibiotic to prevent an abscess in his throat. Just so you guys know how serious this thing going around is. He can usually shrug this kind of thing off in a day or two. This one has laid him low since last week. If you get a fever, STAY HOME. Dont go out in public, not even to the grocery store. Wait until you are no longer contagious. Young children are especially susceptible and when they bring it home... yeah. If you have it, plenty of fluids and rest.
