Im in a Bible Study by Priscilla Shirer and ran across a statement made by her that went deep into my soul; The Lord longs for intimacy with His people and wants us to hunger for it too. We should desire Him above all else. God will do whatever it takes to keep our minds purposed on this goal---even if that means delaying the satisfaction of Canaan. Whether we find ourselves in the midst of a desert or enjoying an oasis of plenty, Gods purpose is to develop passionate hearts that beat for Him. Amen?
