Im in need of some information. Im currently in Chile assisting the members of the Third Fire Company of Valparaiso in getting their 1949 American LaFrance pumper in better operating condition. Weve already solved a few issues. However, the carburetor on the F model V-12 gasoline engine needs adjusted, and the only reference material they have available is for the J model V-12. The F uses a Stromberg AA, 2 barrel carburetor. It acts and smells like its running rich, so Id like to dial back the amount of fuel in the mixture. If you have experience with this carburetor, or have a manual for an F engine, please contact me directly. Thank you in advance!
