Im in shock and sad beyond expectations. Last night I left and mom she was responsive. This morning I came over at 7 and shes in pain and in a slight coma state. The hospice nurse just told me Mom has a day or so. I was preparing for a gradual decline, not a drop off a cliff. I just cant see straight anymore. Im too tired to fight my emotions, but I must be strong. Ive put on her favorite tv shows and music. If the finish line is just ahead I want her to see the happy cheering people not sad crying ones. Its hour by hour now. Please keep her in your prayers.
