Just take a serious look at what is still going on in our society, from the North, South, East, and West. We ALL, still have much to resolve, when it comes to interracial harmony. Its not our imaginations folks, people are truly going through some tough times; and the Government is trying to play the Public As Fools. This horrific era in our countrys history has not been that far off, and although, we have made great strides since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; we still have a long road ahead, and its paramount that the following issues be resolve urgently. When we finally stamp out the egregious injustices in one area of our society (Civil Rights Violations); then, and only then can we as a society continue to move forward harmoniously, and have equal justice for all. I believe we can get this done if we all take action to vote 2014, and demand EEOC Reformation. Change Cant, And Wont Come With Folks Staying Complacent And MUTED!! There Are Hundreds And Thousands Of Individuals Out There, Who Have Been Abused And Mistreated By The System. They Need A Voice To Help Bring About Reformation Of The EEOC. ALTHOUGH AMERICANS CAN FINALLY CELEBRATE THIS UNIQUELY HISTORIC, 2 TERM BLACK PRESIDENCY; THIS ISSUE IS FURTHER COMPOUNDED BY CULTURAL INDIFFERENCES. DISAPPOINTMENT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, TO SAY THE LEAST! I BELIEVE MOST BLACKS ARE JUST PLAIN OLE DISGUSTED WITH THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATIONS HANDLING OF THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN SOCIAL-ECONOMIC DILEMMA. THE FACT THAT OF THE MATTER IS, PRESIDENT OBAMA, HAS CONTINUALLY AND DELIBERATELY FAILED TO ADDRESS THE SYSTEMIC INEQUALITY THAT IS STILL PERVASIVE, IN MANY AREAS OF AMERICAS SOCIETY. THINK OF TYLER PERRY’S SHOW, “THE HAVES AND THE HAVE NOTS”, ON STEROIDS. THOSE WHO HAVE, AND ARE IN THAT INNER SANCTUM, ARE UNEQUIVOCALLY DOWN WITH THE OBAMA’S; AND UNFORTUNATELY, THE HAVE NOTS, WILL HAVE TO WAIT ON THE LORD, FOR A MORE OBEDIENT MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD. I HAVE NOT GIVEN UP HOPE, AND I STILL BELIEVE IN MY GOD, WHO CAN TURN THINGS AROUND MIRACULOUSLY. The POTUS has managed to put in place, some very significant measures (Lilly Ledbetter Act of 2009; now the LGBT Executive Orders) over the course of his administration. Although, we have made great strides since the enactment of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, we still have a long road ahead. Unfortunately, these two acts, only address just a small piece of the systemic discriminatory practices, here in the American workplace. Whether these two acts alone, merited this sort of individualize scrutiny, can be debated for years to come; but I believe for the most part, these classes of discrimination were already covered under the current Civil Rights laws. What’s lacking is the EEOC’s failure to rigorously enforce said laws. Many of today’s employers benefit from the inept and incompetent civil servants who are charged with protecting the vast number of complainant’s civil rights. Mr. President, I sincerely ask, that you please get back to basics, and refocus your efforts in revamping the very organization EEOC (Time for Change = EEOC Reformation); which, would not only solve the issue of Equal Pay for Women; but, undoubtedly would correct the many other Injustices, perpetrated against all Classes of People. Another issue of grave concern Mr. President; please consider using some of your Executive Privileges to revamp archaic laws, like the example listed below. ARCHAIC LAW = It is extremely disturbing as to how and why the current statues of limitations for human beings in Civil Rights violation cases are measurably less than that of animals? (i.e., 180-300 days for filing “discrimination charges” vs. being brought up on charges for up to at least 5 yrs. in VA, for “a cruelty to animals violation”)? That is just unimaginable and unacceptable! Time for “CHANGE” is the hallmark of today’s Administration. Its hopeful! Concerned Citizens Make Your Vote/Voice Be Heard in Nov 2014, and continue up until the next Presidential and Congressional Elections, again in Nov 2016. We Want Reform Now in the EEOC.
