Im new to this group. Im not a Bird Watcher, but more a Nature Watcher. I dont seek to find nature or birds, but live a lifestyle that puts me in places where nature abounds and I love to learn about my surroundings. Im currently (and hope to be for a long time) hosting a BLM campground on the Colorado River in southern AZ approximately 1 to 1.5 miles river miles north of the Cibola Wildlife Refuge. We had some bird watchers in here looking for the Purple Finch I found two days ago and they told me I had an American Redstart (rare) in the campground. A few hours later I managed to get a photo of the American Redstart in my yard here in the campground. Shot a little after 4 p.m.
