Im not a huge fan of Nicki Minajs rapping cuz it just isnt my style of rap that I listen to (& Im not going to address all the back lash this post is going to get either, I am just speaking my mind) but I do give her props for everything she has accomplished as a female in the mainstream rap game. I might not be down with everything about her but I can give props where props are due. She came from the HOOD & made it to the very top of the world she wanted to be in. She has broken down pretty much every barrier for femcees in the mainstream media & the numbers dont lie. She just won best hip hop female for the 5th year in a row on BET, thats major. From one femcee to another, keep grinding, ma. Females in this generation are on the rise on the FM dial & in the underground scene as well & I am very honored to be a part of it. Lets stick together & not bicker or hate. Theres power in numbers & there is enough light so that we can all shine! Good night world.
