(Im not attaching a picture. Pictures of Vinnie are popping up everywhere....theyre just cropping and photoshopping out the watermarks. The latest is our picture that someone photoshopped to look like a painting, and they put a bandage on Vinnies head and a hash pipe in his mouth. Theyre selling it on Ebay for $100) Its quite obvious that our little buddy Vinnie Van Gogh is not at all a fan of the rain. You may notice that Vinnie is a bit less animated today than he normally is, but he was just not thrilled to have to go outside to use the restroom like a big boy. Not to worry though......Vinnie was plenty animated throughout the day today! Its just amazing to see that with each day of feeling better, Vinnie acts more and more like a normal, healthy puppy. He sure puppied-it-up today too. You may remember that we had to cut down Vinnies huge bachelor pad to just a studio apartment after his recent hip surgery. This is to limit the space that he has so he does not hurt himself or overuse his hip. We can see that as he is starting to feel better, he is wanting his old place back. Today, he had an absolute meltdown and took his old apartment back himself. He took down his gate, moved his puppy pad out of the way, took off his e-collar and threw it across the room, and stomped on over to his old place. When we heard the snorting frenzy going on, we discovered him sitting quietly atop two pillows that he had arranged for himself. Since he worked so hard to make his point, we redecorated and gave him part of his old room back. He was quite happy to be in his old spot again, which faces the door so all staff that passes by simply must stop to say hello to him. Vinnie keeps us laughing every day and is such a character. His hip is healing well and he will soon be visiting another one of his doctors to have his sutures removed and schedule his next surgery.
