Im not big on conspiracy theories but I am coming to the conclusion that there needs to be a full Judicial review, including UN experts, to examine all the claims and report back to the Scottish Parliament. We need to know if there is any validity to these claims, if there is we need a recount, if not we need some recommendations to ensure that our democracy is not open to such undermining in the future (especially following the highest turnout ever at an election - we cannot alienate these people again with these rumours of impropriety in the democratic process in Scotland). I strongly believe that this has gone beyond the point of something that can be dismissed as Social Media paranoia, it has definitely reached the level of a potential democracy threatening event like a few years ago when there were over 100,000 rejected ballots. Lessons were learned then and they need to be learned here too, but first we need to find out what exactly went on and publish those findings to restore everyones trust in the democratic process. If we dont sort this issue out we will have wasted all the hard work done by volunteers up and down the country to engage the disaffected in this process.
