Im not gonna go into details but for anyone who sees Noah and says its too dark...im guessing you only read the childrens version. Ya know the one where two of each animal gets on the pretty boat. The story of Noah, like most bibical stories..is not that pretty (The ark didnt even technically look like a boat, and the animals that Noah and his family were to eat...actually had seven pairs each..not just one. Only the unkosher animals came on as a single pair. Look it up ;) )As for accuracy...the story of Noah is one parsha...its short...hollywood had to beef it up but even so i was impressed with how much was included, even if some of it was obviously symbolism. I mean...use your creative minds people. Noah was 600 when the flood came..thst would make for an odd hollywood telling lol. For anyone who has seen it..my fav part was the snake skin at the end. I wont give it away..but its obvious what it was symbolizing. Again...most bibical movies are glammed up. The Prince of Egypt..e on..Moses was 80 when he led his people out of Egypt..not a young handsome 20 something lol. The point isnt really the accuracy..but the message. Stop hating on eachother in the name of God...stop all this war stuff..(whoever sheds the blood of man so shall his blood be shed by man..stop killing eachother...its a vicious cycle)...and be kind to animals..lol. They are innocents. I loved Noah...the kids loved Noah. I give it two thumbs up ;)
