Im not perfect! Never have I claimed perfection!! And never, ever - TopicsExpress

Im not perfect! Never have I claimed perfection!! And never, ever will I be perfect!!! In fact, I have a life story, one worth written under my own name or by my daughter, Contee Yeh Collins, as she is the next closer to portraying and reenacting My Life with the pen from my authorized diary! I have come to admire the United States of America and the founding fathers gift of the spirit and genius that laid a great foundation! One that still cant claim perfection but can acclaimed the best, the horn of diversity, the melting pot and the cradle of humanity! In fact, the place that everyone or anyone can achieve his/her dream without wavering! You see! The founding fathers were not perfect and didnt claim perfection as evidence in the system they built and the foundation they laid when they parted ways with the monarchy of Britain! (The monarchy revised their system and adopted a system of the people, by the people and of the people while maintaining their royalty.) They(founding fathers of the United States of America) held truth that all men are created equal whilst some still had slaves and were involved in other things not angelic nor saint-like! But what they didnt do was tampered with a system that would serve humanity from ages to ages, generations to generations and the creation of mankind to serve their own selfish aim! They didnt make slavery, racism and bigotry a center of the foundation. Their beliefs that is embedded in the Declaration of Independence contradicts all the above negatives mentioned in this paragraph and clearly stipulate a melting pot, diversity, humanity and home of the brave, land of the free. On the contrary, my country of origin and nativity, Liberia, and the place of my fathers fathers birth and my birth home, has failed in its declaration of independence and modus operandi! The problem we are faced with today is a foundational issue! I have written several times that a foundation built on compromises, hastiness, insincerities, unpreparednesses, and complacencies, cant survive and wont survive. This is the fundamental issue of a nation(Liberia) founded in 1822 which declared independence out of self-aggrandizement in 1847. The problems and inefficiencies we have experienced for 167 years now has a root in this poor or no foundation of a nation. Past and present leaders may have all their faults but a weak or no foundation is the fundamental reason of failure! In 1980, after 133 years of one group domination-an oligarchic government, a small group of soldiers from the Armed Forces of Liberia led by Master Sergeant Samuel Kanyon Doe ended it all by toppling the True Whig Party, which by a system of fraud and class ruled for 133 years. They(The People Redemption Council) also lacked the basic education and foundation and the political progressives that were to laid a foundation lacked the experience, willpower and technical know how! No group, in fact possessed the above qualities in 133 years before the coup because our founding fathers failed to lay down that foundation in the 1846 Declaration of Independence. The one thought to be patriot and visionary emerging in the person of the toppled President William R. Tolbert had an internal battle to fight against a long ruling class that wont allow him to open up and reform the system as he also fell prey to what Martin Luther King, Jr. asked from the Alabama prison as on whose timetable should another mans freedom be determined?! Now, today, we sing the song of generational change and empowerment. We still cant and wont achieve this change in erecting a stronger foundation if we continue to lurk in the shadow of past mistakes and in fact make more mistakes. We need independent minds free of tribal sentiments, favor of friends and families, compromises, envies and hate. We need young people who will make their voices heard independent of financial support from the elite and powerful as well as the government. This brings me to someones question and concern, which most people out there may not have said to me: how dare this leader of the chat group Discussing Liberia, who we thought was building a powerful movement to do all the great things, but only to find this group crumbling to personal issues, financial improprieties and demoralizing habits that sickened us all, still have the guts to speak on pressing and contemporary foundational issues?! Thank you! Thank you for your concerns! I still speak on pressing and contemporary foundational issues affecting Liberia because I dont believe nor subscribe to perfection. But what you wanted to know is why and how I let Discussing Liberia to where it is today and still have the guts to speak out on pressing and contemporary foundational issues facing Liberia?! Two things that I can never be convicted of are the ownership acclamation and the financial hostage that some of DL staff (and the acclaimed owner) who subscribe to or are subjects of the old mentalities of compromises, friends and families favor and personal vendettas bought into and were anxiously hateful to achieve, by ignoring the four pillars of Discussing Liberia I laid down under my watch: equality, fairness, transparency and accountability. These are pillars any administration after me could have benefitted from by preserving them. I didnt spend three years of my life and time, dedication, vision and passion to hear or read someone claiming or a group of people attributing ownership. That was a no! no! I didnt employ four pillars of which two: transparency and accountability would be gravely ignored and abused because someone alleged a personal debt the leader owes them can be a ransom used to take the organization funds hostage, which wasnt even in the leaders care nor that individuals care. One disgraced elderly woman whom generations shall read about decided she would join the conspiracy out of her personal ill feelings towards the leader and so transferred an entire organization fund to this scorned woman just to tarnish and reduce the leader. These are the only two reasons Discussing Liberia is what it is today. And even more sorrowful is when this group of conspiracists spent a year to register a new non-profit Discussing Liberia, Inc to a 501c3 to cover up for the two ladies and gain relevance. Do you really think you will ever be credible and relevant?! Then assassinate me and my entire bloodline and search all the files and records I have, destroy them before you achieve that credibility and relevance. I will come after every organizations that align with you or accept donations from you from the compromised funds you are using to gain leverage. I will send the files and records to every reputable organization and those who ignored will meet me in the media. Yes! You can convict me of being an imperfect man trying to build a strong and uncompromising movement! You can convict me of being a man of flaws, insurmountable trying to erect a strong foundation in embedded into four pillars: equality, fairness, transparency and accountability! In conclusion, Liberia needs healing (something Winston Tubman said in his endorsement speech of George Manneh Oppong Weah in 2005 that in Weah there is healing for Liberians and in Ellen there is none) and a revision. We need to go back to our foundation from 1822-1847, 1847-1980, 1980-1989, 1989-2003 and 2003-present to erect a new and stronger foundation. If you are still worried about me and my vision to help achieve this, watch out for my return soon with the Magnus Era Liberia(MEL Group of companies) institutes preserving my vision, dedication and passion which was borrowed to Discussing Liberia. Those craftily trying their best to plagiarize will meet me in federal court! From the Gulf of Mexico, I write! I bid you Peace and Light!
