Im not religious, because Im an intellectual, and being a Religious Zealot prohibits my ability to use my BRAIN, and paralyzes my critical thinking skills. This for me, creates cognitive dissonance, because religion, in a sense, turns me against myself and puts me in a mental cage with other domesticated thinkers. Besides, Knowing HOW to think empowers you way more than those who only know WHAT to think. This doesnt mean i dont believe in something greater than myself, such as the higher power, the Most High, The creator, or what ever name people subscribe to it, no, i just dont believe in the dogma, and propaganda that comes with each separate doctrine that promotes what i perceive to be greater than our comprehension, The Creative forces, because i understand that religion was once used for political GAIN. Dont assume that God has your same prejudices.---Mr. Washington
