Im not sure how many here are inclined to scripture but I do wonder with the times as they are what certain things mean. For instance in the Old Testament book of Daniel we have extensive prophecy in which kingdoms arose and fell that we saw happen in history as it followed. Persians, Medes, Greeks, Romans, etc... Then later we see other prophecies, notably the last book, the revelation of Christ to John, all apocalyptic stuff, that just opens grand vistas for the imagination. One stands tall for me from both sides of the book the abomination of desolation that we are warned of, and told we should look out for. Different theories, different feelings. Also, the great whore that sits upon the waters. Who exactly is that? And the beast? And the false prophet? So many divergent views on what is good for Israel, what is bad, and the people of Abraham returning to the Promised Land, and the great war surrounding Jerusalem, happening still as we speak. Thoughts? Opinions?
