Im not the one to post videos or links and today is no exception. Just thought Id share my rant of the day! Call me out time... I feel so vulnerable... Lol Start... If I told you someone you probably know of used the phrase convert or die just the other day who do you think that would be? If you answered Phil Robertson, of Duck Dynasty fame youd be right. Phil, (doing his best Cliven Bundy impression of distancing your one-time supporters or fanning the flames) said on Hannity Tuesday night, In this case, you either have to convert them (referring to ISIS) which I think would be next to impossible. Im not giving up on them, but Im just saying either convert them or kill them. One or the other. Id much rather have a Bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ. However, if its a gunfight and a gunfight alone, if thats what theyre looking for, me personally, I am prepared for either one. While Im no ISIS supporter and believe they should be dealt with when that intelligence is available and coalitions are in place, I also give Phil a tremendous amount of credit for admitting that this is all about religious beliefs. I want the Pope, the head Rabbi, and the Imam in charge to sit down and fix this shit now... Talk it out, have some debates, sing some Kumba ya, chill the nuts! Think of it as a movie trilogy... First there was The Torah, then The New Testament was the sequel, and the Quran finishes the series out by pretending like the second one never happened. In that one theres still Jesus, but hes not the main character anymore, and the Messiah hasnt shown up yet. Jews like the first movie, but ignore the sequels; Christians think you need to watch the first two, but the third movie doesnt count; Muslims think the third one is the best; and Mormons like the second one so much that they started writing fan fiction that doesnt fit with ANY of the series canon. Fortunately they arent armed. Robertson had a Bible with him on the set and quoted scripture throughout in the interview. However, its not clear which passage he may have been referring to with his call for conversion or death. Stop! Critique.
