Im on my way home...early since September. My seasons over...til February. Yahoo!!!! I had not eaten all day, so I decided to get a slice of pizza, and a glass of wine for the ride home, on a health kick, can you tell!! :), Most people would not understand, but since 911, NYC looks like we live in a police state. Cops and military everywhere. Its normal to us. I thank them always but since all the controversy lately I go out of my way.I was joking with a bunch of cops tonight asking if their favorite night was tonight or Halloween ! One cop said St. Patricks day. I told him I was Irish and he said I mean the Puerto Rican Day Parade!! We were just having fun & laughing. I then went and got my pizza.There were four reservist getting dinner and I told the cashier I would pay for their dinners, and not to tell them who was paying for it, it was just paid for when they went to pay..No big deal, $38 for soda and pizza. I was walking to my train and one of the soldiers came up to me and hugged me. You would have thought I bought him Chateaubriand and lobster. I almost missed my train. After we said our goodbyes I had to stop, I started to cry.Heres a man putting his life on the line everyday for me and hes thanking me for a slice of Pizza...♡ God bless all our service men and women.
