Im really an asshole for this. OTHER: Marc, I almost posted this on the UNA story you shared. But I didnt want it to come across in the wrong way and offend any of your friends who may not know me. So I would like your input on this. How is the best way to show Gods true love and my love through Christ to the LGBTQ Community? You know me well, and know I do not agree with the lifestyle. However, I still love you all through Christ, and friendships. I pray I never get to the point this guy is, because he is trying to show a god that I believe does not exist. Please help me so I know how to be a better person. Would the following have been offensive to you or anyone else you know? I am trying to say this guy is very wrong for what he did and for more than the LBGTQ comments. He was wrong in all kind of ways. Thanks in advance. Russell The post begins below. This is a straight cut and paste of it. Marc, you know I dont agree with your lifestyle, due to my beliefs, but that does not mean I wouldnt be friends with you or anyone living in the LBGTQ world. I love you all. So I say this with love, this preacher is a bad apple. He is standing on a platform trying to profess a God that doesnt exist. The God of the Bible is a God of love. The God I know may not like the lifestyle of the LBGTQ community, but he loves you all and calls His followers to do the same thing. This guy, sadly, couldnt have been removed from campus, but thankfully students were willing to stand up for themselves. This kind of thing is not how to show God to anyone. This is a way for 15 minutes of fame and nothing more. Way to go students, especially the LBGTQ organization of UNA. Besides, I know there are some pretty strong Christians at UNA right now, and not all college students are going to hell, like he said. GO LIONS!!!!!! ME:I dont give a shit about the Lions--in fact, Im horrified that Christians feel the need to keep lions in cages[my college has two lions in a cage without adequate care]--but I was greatly amused that there is a Secular Student Association with the smarts to hand out flyers during this crap. I know you dont agree with me, but I dont really care--I dont need you to apologize for this guy. If you have Gods love, youll shut him up. Chat Conversation End
