Im sitting here scrolling through my news feed while still in bed, embracing my laziness, Im reading all of these positive New Years statuses. Just for one second I felt like there was nothing for me to be thankful for. The beginning of 2014 I was happily engaged planning a wedding with a guy who I spent five years of my life with. I had my life planned out to a T and my biggest worries was wedding venues, was whether or not I could slide through a course getting a B, and when was I finally going to get my labradoodle. Time has changed and life has moved on. Practically Nothing is the same anymore, no longer am I engaged, instead of pursuing nursing right away I have decided to go the Fire Rescue route first then follow through with the RN program later on. In April there is a good chance I could be moving up to Destin and starting a new life with my beautiful best friend Britani Svenson and her husband! Life has so much to offer and I couldnt be any more thankful for my family and friends health, the opportunity to get my education, a roof over my head, a wonderful job working in the ER, and the support everyone has to offer for me. Clearly my life wasnt planned out because everything is so different now, life never stays the same for too long so I have learned to embrace it and Im excited to see where it takes me. Cant wait to see what 2015 has to offer and who knows I might end up in Alaska for all I know 😉
