Im sitting here unemployed for the first time in my life. I dont like it and have been spared week by week with jobs that have come in for various things. I have been on the phone with the temp agency and have been told that I am on their hotlist, whatever that is, and that they will call me the first thing something comes in. I have voiced interest in one particular job and they have put me down for that job. Today, I call them and get a very vague response, unlike before. Then I call them back and ask what the deal is and they tell me that they will certainly consider me for that job. Now, I find out that other people have been called for that job. I also have an inside source and I already knew that the temp agency had a request for staffing before I even called them. I do believe that on tomorrow, I shall make a personal visit to this temp agency. This kinda stuff is not right at all.
