Im so Singing Hills/Oak Cliff I remember have real goods and services in the neighborhood, like a K-Mart and Target that were super centers before such a thing existed, Gibsons sold groceries too. Glenview shopping had two grocery stores. Friday dinner was at Bonanza, we had two Diary Queens, two 7/11s. You could shop at real department stores at Wynnewood , Village Fair, that mall at 35 and Kiest and Lancaster-Kiest shopping center. there also a mall at the corner of Ledbetter and Hampton. Not to mention downtown OC on Jefferson. All before there was a Redbird mall. You didnt have to drive more than 3 miles to get what you needed.
