Im so excited to switch to the morning church schedule tomorrow! We have two wards (congregations) that meet in the same building and each year we switch meeting times. It is my wards turn to meet from 9am-noon (instead of 1pm-4pm). This is my favorite schedule because we can come home and have quiet time! Today the older children got to introduce the younger ones to our method for getting ready for morning church. On Saturday evenings kids sing Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes while they gather the clothing and items theyll need to wear/bring to church. (Shirt, tie, skirt, pants, underthings, glasses, etc). Im sitting by a row of childrens clothing gathered and ready to wear in the morning. While they gathered their clothing I did my part - I packed the diaper bag. Now all we need to do in the morning is get up, eat, and get dressed. Easy peasy, which I need - Daddy has church meetings beginning at 6:30am every Sunday so Im on my own getting everyone else ready for church. Now to decide what lunch will be and prep it tonight. Maybe something in the crock pot? What is your favorite way to make the time before church run smoothly?
