Im so sick and tired of being judged for playing hockey. Society tells you to be yourself, but when you do, they hate you for it. I play hockey for none other than the fact that I love doing it. I started playing now because when I was little I was told hockey was a boys sport and thats the way I grown up looking at it as. I never looked at it as an option. I never knew so many people could have a problem just because I play a sport not many girls play. It takes a lot of courage, effort, and hard work starting hockey as a girl and at this age. I love hockey, its a great game, competitive, so much fun to learn something new, a great stress reliever and an awesome feeling being one a not many girls who play. THAT is why I play. If you have any opinions or problems with me playing, thats messed up. Never thought society would get SO BAD to the point you are judged by the sport you play.
