Im sorry folks I have to do it....I feel bad for Iverson, but heres the harsh reality, it pays to put on a suit and tie, it pays to let the cornrows go, it pays to build your business/marketing brand to the point where it can last far beyond your playing days. I wish Iverson wouldve transformed into more of a team player, veteran leader, fan friendly, corporate friendly guy as his career matured. Im sure he couldve signed on to a couple championship bound teams and picked up a few more checks in addition to still doing commercials and slinging products...MJ was all business 24/7. Now in retirement he can say what he wants, how he really feels and nobody can say anything or mess with his money. If he had been more outspoken, less professional he would not be reaping the type of rewards he enjoys today, almost a decade from the last time he stepped on a bball court...
