Im sorry that Im a slacker. I totally should have captured the reunion on video or at least pictures, but selfishly, I decided to live in the moment. In an attempt to make Zoeys flu shot less of an issue (opted out of the mist so there wasnt any issue with the live virus and Q), I told her that when we were done, Mom, Dad and Q would be AT HOME waiting for them. Both Macey and Zoey LIT UP! So, we arent going to Aunt Missys? Were going HOME? Yes, sweet little monsters, you get to go HOME. And it made the shot worth it. When we walked up, Daddy greeted them with open arms and carried them in the house to Mom. Second mother Greta held Q protectively while Mommy got a few squeezes and kisses and told Macey and Zoey how to be protective of Quincys face and head. Quincy smiled and giggled as Macey scooped her into her arms and Zoey played peek-a-boo with her! Greta told her to be careful with the same tone I have heard Chelle Bauder use a million times with all of the monsters she watches. Such an honor to watch. So very thankful to have them back in Woodville where they belong. Blessed to be part of a community that continues to show up for people in need. Sun is out and shining. Make today great!
