Im studying to become a court reporter and love the field Im going into. Court Reporters have to have a 95% or better accuracy of the record. So sometimes I see things online, such as here on Facebook, or out and about on town and I see things that sort of irritate me when I know that the grammar and/or punctuation is bad and/or spelling. I mean no offense to anyone. I know that Im not perfect either, but I realize as an up and coming court reporter that mistakes like this to us reporters is almost as cringing as nails on a chalkboard. LOL Why do I say this? Well, the other day Im driving around shopping and I saw a sign that said Thyroid - Endochrinologist on it. I did a double look to make sure I saw the sign right. You think a doctor who specializes in the endocrine system would know how to spell endocrinologist. I even looked it up to make sure I was right about it being spelled without an H. Thought I might write him a letter, what do you think? LOL (Im joking about writing the letter.)
