Im sunk by The nonsense of my mind A cross between day and night And dark and light Lost and afraid of whats to come If I dont try to run Please allow me the air i deserve to breathe Please let me wander this big world to find what once was me I scream Yet no one seems to hear I scream But everyone else is sleeping I whisper to myself a lullaby I tiptoe and try not to wake the beast inside All is senseless and meant to close my eyes Yet something wont let me dream tonight It could be the raindrops that drip outside It could be the monster that tries to hide In the closet or under the bed In the dark or in my head I cant sleep so i write a bad lullaby instead:):)
