Im supposed to attend a meeting today but was too lazy to do so. Even asked for divine leading last night if i must or must not go. Continous rain woke me up this morning but little did i know that almost all areas are impassable already. After an hour or two, i finally realized that my prayer has been answered. I need not push through with my plan for He has a better plan for me -- whatever it is. :) God is silent in all my prayers this recent past but it does not mean He is not working. When Joseph obediently obeyed his fathers instruction to go find his older brothers, he was not aware of the risk ahead of him. He was put in the bottom of the empty well and covered with lid. He could have died inside but was silent not even asked God why He allowed it to happen. When Joseph was sold to passersby by his own brothers, He never questioned why God allowed it to happen also. He instead chose to obey and have peace no matter how difficult it is for him to live in Egypt with all uncertainties. When Joseph was falsely accused and was imprisoned for allegedly taking advantage of the wife of Potiphar who has lust over him, He did not grumble inside the prison. God has better plan for Him as a matter of fact. He instead waited for right opportunity perhaps Gods opportunity. His patience and focus on Gods favor and faithfulness made him rescued from rock bottom and placed him second in command after Potiphar. God taught me two important things on my special day: 1. That despite all the despairs, testings and lows in life, He is after our character molding when we are placed in uncomfortable circumstances. 2. That problems are indeed inevitable part of life but Gods promise to fullfill His mission will proceed -- we just need to make ourselves available, to take part in his work without grumbling and enjoy the blessing He abundantly prepared for us. Keep our eyes on Gods blessings no matter how gloomy, or rainy our situation may be. God bless!
