Im sure this might upset a person or two.. but Im being genuine and am more than willing to take constructive criticism... This thought occurred to me when I seen a picture of a child with progeria and demanded I find her cute or else. ******** When I see people who are obviously not in the basic intrinsic golden ratio of esthetically pleasing features... But listed as most beautiful or cutest thing ever, its odd to me. Im not mad per sei but it makes me feel a certain way... Do I think the paraplegic bodybuilder is an amazing person and an inspirational story? Yes. Do I think the child with a malformed characteristic due to a disability is still adorable and awesome and has all the rights and potentials of any other child? Damn right. Do I think the woman battled brain cancer and now is bravely fighting back and wears her scar with pride is one of the coolest chicks on the planet?! HELL YEA!! But... In a purely esthetically speaking sort of way do I think they deserve to be looked at different? Do I think that I can look at a picture on a magazine cover and say, this maxim top 10 hotties winner is no where near as hot as the woman who lost 300 pounds and got her life back. Where do we applaud the men or women that didnt have to lose it in the first place. If having it doesnt make them worse... then... Why does one child having an extra chromosome make them better than the next child. Why is it Impossible for us to look at 2 people who are identical in every way and judge them based on the here and now and not look for a reason to provide a participation point to the lesser man?
