Im trying to get a mobility scooter on the ADP program & have been informed part of the criteria is I have to be able to drive it into my home/apartment. I live in an upper apartment. So I called Social Housing to see if I could get a unit here in Dover, & was amazed/shocked that all of these government funded buildings in Norfolk County are not Smoke Free. The Government & the Bureaucrats have seen fit to protect themselves in the buildings where they work, as well as other work places for the ones that have jobs & pay taxes. Buildings like Geared To Income are usually occupied by seniors, handicap, ODSP clients, etc. not the working public. This leaves me with the feeling that a person like myself is becoming invisible. .
