Im upset with Wikipedia which has decided that it will redirect all Elementary and Middle School pages to their Districts page, as very few elementary or middle schools are Notable enough to have their own page. To be notable a school needs at least a full page article written in a publish print magazines or newspapers. (High Schools are generally considered Notable as they are large and diverse enough to warrant a page of their own.) Over 1750 school articles have been eliminated thus far in this ongoing assault on the publics right to information about their local institutions. As far as I can tell these are all PUBLIC schools, and this policy is possibly (probably) Political in nature. This comes after spending the last 5 years keeping my K-8 schools Wikipedia page up-to-date with relevant information. It was over 9,500 characters long and gave specifics about the schools construction and build budget, and historical information about its inception and the changes made to the school in its purpose over the past 8 years of its existence, and the schools programs. At least they have not yet found and eliminated my previous schools page (24,000+ characters long), a school which had a very interesting 28-year history before its closure 5 years ago (That page was rated as among the top 1% of school webpages several years ago). I have over 2500 edits over the past 7 years, and have created articles in dozens of areas, but feel it maybe time to move on to editing in other areas.
