Im very VERY tired but I really want to share this... About a month ago I posted about my kitty, Cletus being very sick with cancer and having only a few days or weeks at best to live. He was unable to eat or drink anything and was hiding in the closet. No urination or bowel movements so it didnt seem like he had long at all and we were seriously contemplating putting him to sleep. But we decided that since he wasnt exhibiting any signs of suffering we didnt want to go that route. So we brought Cletus home expecting that he would die. After a week he still hadnt eaten or drunk anything and still no urine/fecal output and he had gotten to the point where he was skeletal. And he continued on that way for another week - we had no idea how he was still surviving. Well... about a week and a half ago, Cletus began to drink a little water and eat a tiny bit of human food. Hes now eating and drinking again and has lost that dulled look in his eyes and has become quite a bit more active! Somehow he seems to have gone into remission. The vet was delighted when I called and told her and had no explanation for his apparent recovery. All I know is hes our little Christmas miracle and thats the only present I needed or really wanted.
