Im very happy to report that I finished a 30km training run today and felt pretty good considering I havent run that far since my last trail race (35km) back in September! For those interested in my LCHF diet, I fueled on UCAN and Energybits. I had half a serve of UCAN before my run and 30 bits (they are pure spirulina if you havent heard of them before) and then sipped the other half serve of the UCAN and had 30 more bits at halfway. So overall before and during my run I had about 30g carbs (100cals) and zero sugars for just over 3 hours. I feel like I had just enough fuel and struggled more so with my heavy legs which I will attribute to not doing much mileage in the past 3 months.
