Im very proud to belong to Post 186. We did an outstanding job on the pig roast today. I heard no complaints. Everybody worked hard to make this happen. This isnt an easy event to pull off. Legionnaires had to be on site and cooking by 0230, breakfast shift came in and others soon followed. The members of this post give their all on these events and it always reflects well on us. The Ladies Auxiliary did a super job setting up and running the bake sale and, considering the crowd, pulled in a nice take for the day. Our Post Ladies Auxiliary is something special and I greatly appreciate them. Tom Van Horn from the Legion Riders rode all the way from Norfolk to visit and eat with us. Sure, the crowd could have been bigger, but, the facts are, we put out a great spread of excellent food and had an up beat atmosphere with music and lots of laughs. As always, I am under threat of physical harm if I name names to hand out credit, but, if I saw you and you saw me at the post, you did a great job and we were better off for having you there. Many, many thanks for all you did.
