Imagine being a small child who wakes up everyday wondering if your parents are mad at you or displeased. Some of you know this feeling all to well. Now, what if you spent the entire day before doing everything to please your parents, finally got them to smile, only to start all over again. Unfortunately, this is how many believers live their lives. It is sad that we have such a lame view of who God the Father is. The truth is, God is well pleased with you always and has never been displeased with you. He holds you and smiles as you sleep. He loves to see his children at peace and rest. The very thought of you waking up and starting a new day excites him to no end. He loves your expression of his image and likeness in the form of your "you-niqueness". He is an amazing father who loves you unconditionally.
