Imagine if you will going back to the battleground, the warzone with all the hell & the craziness (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) that that war put you thru for say a tour of 20 yrs, imagine you came back 27 yrs later. Lot of changes, others gone, dead, some remain but you barely remember them. Just people whom are there, sporadically. Including the crazies. But imagine all the memories (talk about triggers!) and....imagine....youre there, 27 yrs later. Alone. You got no one with you and no one for you. Youre on your own. And you gotta process shit you didnt the first time you were there. For obvious reasons. Like. Survival. Yea, its like that. Dedicated to the only real friends I ever had who got me, moody mary.
