Imagine what it will be like to be surrounded by the glory of God. You have arrived in your eternal home – Heaven. This is the blessed hope of every believer. I went to a funeral today.... where TWO and ONLY TWO total strangers to this person stood at his grave at graveside, Myself and my Friend Marty, I gave his eulogy, read Scriptures from the Holy Bible and then we played Chris Tomlin singing Amazing Grace ( My Chains Are Gone) and then as I watched them lower the casket into the ground I thought, what happened in this persons life that lead to this moment of having no one to stand here at the foot of his casket but two strangers. His daughter who loved him dearly would have been here but she went home to be with the Lord in March.... So I guess you could say there would have been three people to stand at his grave, No family, no friends, I thought well he was 93 years old and probable all his friends have already gone on before him but then I thought.... well he had FAMILY still living, I contacted his family and I knew they would be unable to come but one of them told me even if they could they were not interested in coming. They had their reasons Im sure but I thought how sad that somewhere in their lives the communication stopped, time passed and one day it just didnt matter anymore, oh Im sure they would say it was his fault and he would say it was theirs.... But the fact remains, this man died alone. R.I.P. WML I hope that I have loved and been loved so that when this time comes, someone will stand at my feet and oh for just a brief moment of time, weep! You will never miss someone you dont spend time with....
