Imperialist? Protected elite? Hired? Lawlessness? Where does one - TopicsExpress

Imperialist? Protected elite? Hired? Lawlessness? Where does one even begin to critise this mess? On a purely conservative note she seems to use language that ironically would be considered leftist, and if we honestly look at all US presidents, nearly all have acted in imperialist fashions, on a perspective of the left (which of course is traditionally unapplicable in an American context) she also ironically contradicts her record in regard to questionable foreign policy. On the issue of elite and being critical she critises a class which she herself is part of and has also greatly benefited from. On the issue of being hired, also incorrect, presidents are elected not hired. On the issue of economic recovery, and lower to middle class, blatantly not being supportive of raising the wage limits she also makes no sense since her clear lack of support is obvious. On the issue of immigration, it is just retarded of any American to be critical since most Americans do indeed come from immigrant families. On the assumption that immigrants also take up American jobs, this is also a long used inflamatory device, which is simply untrue, since most immigrants do labor which most American people see as beneath them, and refuse to do. Illegal immigration in the US is not, as she would have us believe at an all time high. As in other public statements, she would have you believe that this is true. On the issue of welfare and social services, nearly half of welfare is given out to American citizens, and most of them are white, vetrans, or children. We can of course debate the necessary length of time people are on welfare and training assistance and job creation, all of which conservatives have failed or blocked to crrate. Which is ironic, since to critise it and yet offer no real substantive plan is rubbish.
