Important update to the casting information for the James Cameron sequel feature film Avatar 2 regarding the casting of Native American and First Nations talent. An individual by the name of Roscoe Pond re-published my casting information without permission, and he added the inaccurate statement that Avatar 2 will be casting Native American and /or First Nations actors. This is a complete fabrication and there is no truth to what Roscoe Pond published at Examiner and elsewhere. There are no plans to cast Native Americans or First nations actors in Avatar 2. This is simply something that Roscoe Pond decided to add to this information that he re-published without permission. Avatar 2 will be shooting in New Zealand, and any such casting for those specific types will be cast with the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand, the Māori - NOT Native Americans (United States) or First Nations (Canada) Talent.
